Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is framed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020, and applies to all purchases made on www.agripie.com.

1. General Principles

  • Refunds are processed only in cases explicitly mentioned in this policy.

  • All refund requests must be raised in writing within 7 days of delivery of the product.

  • Products must be used strictly in accordance with the instructions and intended purpose stated on the Website.

 
2. Non-Refundable Products
Due to hygiene, safety, and contamination risks, no refunds are applicable for the following once dispatched:

  • Mushroom pure cultures

  • Spawn, mother cultures, liquid cultures

  • Any other biological or perishable products

This restriction is disclosed prior to purchase, as required under applicable e-commerce rules.
 
3. Refund Eligibility (Limited Cases)
Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:
3.1 Incorrect Product Supplied

  • The product supplied is materially different from what was ordered (e.g., incorrect genus or category).

3.2 Transit-Related Issues (Conditional)

  • Packaging is found leaking, cracked, opened, or oozing at the time of delivery without visible external damage, and

  • The shipment was accepted after inspection, and

  • The issue is reported within 24 hours of delivery with photo/video evidence.

⚠️ Shipments showing visible damage or broken glass must not be accepted from the courier.
3.3 Non-Perishable Products
For non-perishable items (e.g., dried mushrooms):

  • Refunds may be considered if there is a verified deficiency of 5% or more in parameters under Agripie’s control, such as:

    • Net weight

    • Count

    • Moisture content

 

 4. Laboratory Testing & Performance Disclaimer

  • Any analytical or test reports referenced are issued by independent FSSAI-approved laboratories.

  • Variations in results may occur due to differences in sampling, handling, environment, or testing protocols.

 All customers acknowledge that product test reports are issued independently by FSSAI-approved laboratories, and Agripie disclaims all liability, warranties, or claims arising from such reports, including their accuracy, interpretation, or regulatory acceptance.

5. Bulk & Commercial Orders

  • For bulk or commercial purchases, the buyer is responsible for independent testing at their own cost.

  • Refunds for bulk orders are not applicable, unless explicitly agreed in writing prior to order confirmation.


6. Order Cancellation Refunds

  • Orders cancelled within 24 hours of placement and before dispatch are eligible for a refund.

  • Once an order is dispatched, cancellation refunds are not available due to the perishable nature of products.


7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (UPI, card, bank transfer, etc.).

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–15 working days after approval, depending on banking channels.


8. Misuse & Abuse
Agripie reserves the right to deny refund requests if:

  • Products are mishandled, improperly stored, or used outside specified conditions

  • Claims are raised after the permitted reporting period

  • Evidence provided is incomplete, misleading, or unverifiable

This does not affect statutory consumer rights.
