Shipping, Cancellation and Return Policy

2. Product Information & Customer Responsibility

All material information relating to products, including specifications, intended use, handling requirements, and limitations, is displayed on the Website or made available upon request, in compliance with Rule 4(5) of the E-commerce Rules.

Customers are advised to review product descriptions and specifications carefully before placing an order.

Mushroom cultures (pure culture, spawn, liquid culture, etc.) are supplied for research, training, and cultivation purposes only and require appropriate handling conditions at the customer’s end.

Performance of biological products depends on multiple factors beyond the seller’s control, including storage, handling, environment, and user practices.
Agripie shall not be responsible for outcomes arising from improper handling, storage, or use after delivery.
3. Shipping Policy

Orders are packed using appropriate protective and sterile packaging methods.

Shipments are dispatched through third-party courier partners. Tracking details are shared once the order is shipped.

Risk of loss or damage during transit passes to the customer upon delivery, subject to mandatory inspection requirements stated below.
3.1 Temperature-Sensitive & Perishable Products

Certain products are temperature-sensitive and perishable in nature.

Cold-chain logistics are not offered due to limited availability and high cost.

High ambient temperatures, particularly during May–June, may affect product condition. Customers are informed of such risks prior to order confirmation.
This disclosure is provided in compliance with the obligation to inform consumers of special conditions affecting product performance.
3.2 Dispatch & Delivery Timelines (Indicative)

In-stock items: dispatched within 1–2 working days

Freshly prepared cultures: dispatched within 3–7 working days
Estimated delivery after dispatch:

Domestic: 2–10 working days

International: 2–4 weeks
Delivery timelines are indicative and dependent on courier partners. Delays caused by logistics providers, force majeure events, or regulatory processes are beyond the seller’s control.
3.3 Mandatory Inspection at Delivery
In accordance with consumer due-diligence principles:

Customers must inspect the outer package at the time of delivery.

Do not accept shipments that are visibly damaged, tampered, leaking, or emitting a tinkling sound of broken glass.

Acceptance of a damaged shipment without remark may limit the ability to raise a claim with the courier partner.
This does not affect statutory consumer rights for latent defects where applicable.
4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, are clearly disclosed at checkout prior to order confirmation.

Free shipping, where offered, is promotional and subject to change without prior notice.
5. Customs Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

Customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, and local levies imposed by destination authorities are the responsibility of the customer.

Courier partners may collect such charges at the time of delivery on behalf of authorities.
6. Order Cancellation

Customers may cancel an order within 24 hours of placement, provided the order has not been shipped.

Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible due to the perishable and contamination-sensitive nature of products.
This policy is disclosed prior to purchase in compliance with transparency requirements under the E-commerce Rules.
7. Returns
7.1 Perishable & Biological Products

Mushroom cultures, spawn, mother cultures, and similar biological products are non-returnable once dispatched, due to hygiene, safety, and contamination risks.
7.2 Non-Perishable Products

Returns may be considered only for deficiencies in parameters directly under the seller’s control, such as weight, count, or moisture, subject to verification.
8. Laboratory Reports & Liability Clarification

Any product test or analytical report referenced is issued by an independent FSSAI-approved laboratory.

Such reports are provided for informational purposes only.
All customers acknowledge that product test reports are issued independently by FSSAI-approved laboratories, and Agripie disclaims all liability, warranties, or claims arising from such reports, including their accuracy, interpretation, or regulatory acceptance.
